Our Vision

Putting students first through Character, Challenge and Accountability.

Our Mission

Cherokee Charter Academy will develop in its students a passion and curiosity necessary to become lifelong learners and future leaders while instilling core community values, strong character ethics, and a commitment to excellence.

PROGRAMS & SERVICES

  • Through our tailored learning plans, students have the opportunity to carefully analyze their progress data, establish objectives, and chart the course for their educational advancement.

  • Guardians are given access to their children’s personal information through a password-protected computer-based system that allows them to monitor their progress. Parents can monitor test scores, homework and attendance on a daily basis.

  • A school uniform policy is enforced. School uniform must be purchased exclusively from a Cherokee Charter Academy approved vendor only. School uniforms instill a sense of pride in the school as well as each child’s individual appearance. Uniforms allow students to focus on their education instead of designer labels and fashion trends.

  • Breakfast and lunch service will be available to all students. Reduced breakfast costs $.30 and reduced lunch costs $.40. Cherokee Charter Academy will participate in the National School Lunch Program and free or reduced pricing will be available to those students who meet the guidelines. For the fastest process, to apply online.

Printed applications are also available for pick up at the school.

  • Our Classically Inspired program was born out of thoughtful discussions with our current families at Cherokee Charter Academy, as well as members of the local community. Our goal was to offer a distinctive educational experience that would set us apart from typical public schools and help our students achieve even greater academic success. K-2 will first take on this model in the 2023-24 academic year. We will expand to K-5 for the 2024-25 year and K-8 for the 2025-26 year.

  • We offer Before Care for grades K-8 starting at 6:30am for $5.00.

After Care is $10 per day and goes until 6:00pm. For more information about our Before & After Care program click here.

  • Cherokee Charter Academy provides a diverse range of after-school enrichment programs, encompassing technology, athletics, music, robotics, arts, and much more.

  • CCA values the active participation of parents, teachers, and community members in supporting our school's mission. We encourage volunteering through our Parent Teacher Co-op (PTC), which works closely with the administration to assist with special events, campus and classroom operations, teacher appreciation, community building, and more. The PTC is an integral part of the school, not an independent non-profit. To volunteer, please email ptc@cherokeecharter.org. We appreciate your contribution to our school community.
