introducing our new k thru 2nd academic program
Our Classically Inspired program was born out of thoughtful discussions with our current families at Cherokee Charter Academy, as well as members of the local community. Our goal was to offer a distinctive educational experience that would set us apart from typical public schools and help our students achieve even greater academic success.
Reading & writing

When will Cherokee Charter Academy begin to implement the classically inspired model?
The back to the basics approach combined with current best practices will help students master the Georgia Standards of Excellence.
Our first expansion will be for the 2024-25 academic year we will begin rolling out our Classically Inspired model to grades K thru 5th.
By the 2025-26 academic year we will have fully rolled out our Classically Inspired curriculum to all grades K through 8th.
